The environment was designed as a fully enclosed lightbox with an image-wrapped interior to create an immersive, pastel-toned backdrop. Lighting was built from scratch using a customized 3-point setup to emphasize gentle contrast and maintain a dreamy atmosphere. The final render was completed in Cycles with 600 samples and denoising to ensure a clean, polished result. Description: This short animation features a stylized spider descending on its web, revealing the phrase “Happy Halloween” woven into the strands. The project challenged me to combine rigging, hair dynamics, and procedural materials to create a realistic yet playful mood. I used the Wiggle Bones 2 add-on to simulate secondary motion in the spider’s limbs and employed geometry nodes for the web structure. Lighting and shading were custom-built to evoke a moody, cinematic Halloween atmosphere.
